His Lordship was born on November 1, 1965 and did B.A.(Hons.) from DAV College, Chandigarh in 1986 and his L.L.B from the Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1989. His Lordship was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh in August in the same year. His Lordship has represented the Union Territory, Chandigarh Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh, the Official Liquidator attached to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the Punjab Financial Corporation, the Punjab State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation (MARKFED), Punjab State Electricity Board, Food Corporation of India, Punjab State Agricultural and Marketing Board, Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation and the Punjab and Haryana High Court. His Lordship has handled a mixed bag of work pertaining to Criminal, Civil, Service,Land Acquisition and Constitutional law on the private side besides being on the panel of the aforesaid institutions. His Lordship has been a sportsman during his College days representing his College and University in the sport of Lawn Tennis. His Lordship belongs to a legal family as his Lordship's father was Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court From 1978 to 1983, and of the Patna High Court from 1983 to 1987. His Lordship was elevated to the Bench on September 30, 2011, as an additional Judge and became permanent judge of this Court on January 24, 2014. His Lordship remained Chairman of the Hon'ble Mediation and Conciliation Committee, Hon'ble Recruitment and Promotion Committee (Superior Judicial Service), Hon'ble Recruitment and Promotion Committee (Subordinate Judicial Service), Hon'ble Vigilance & Disciplinary Committee, Hon’ble Training and Programme Committee, Hon’ble Screening Committee, Hon’ble Building Committee, Punjab,  Hon’ble Inter District Transfer Committee, Hon’ble Committee for Designation of Senior Advocates,  Hon’ble Committee for Litigation Matter, Hon’ble Committee for Implementation of Model Case Flow Management and also is the Executive Chairman of the Punjab State Legal Services Authority.  His Lordship took charge of the Acting Chief Justice, Punjab and Haryana High Court on 04.02.2024.

His Lordship was born to Mrs. Sarla and Mr. P.K. Palli on 18th September, 1964, at Patiala. He completed his graduation in Commerce in the year 1985 from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He qualified his law in 1988 and joined the profession in the same year, starting his practice in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana. He was enrolled as a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana on 13th August 1988.
      During his period at the bar, he practiced in various fields of law such as civil, revenue, constitutional and industrial and labour law. He joined as Additional Advocate General, Punjab on 1st September, 2004 and continued in office till March, 2007. During this period, he handled many important matters for the State of Punjab specially entrusted to him. His Lordship was appointed as Additional Central Government Standing Counsel on 29th July 2004 from which he later resigned in December, 2004. His Lordship was designated as a Senior Advocate on 26th April, 2007. His Lordship was appointed as an Amicus by the High Court in a few contentious matters and also argued important propositions before Full Benches and matters admitted to Division Benches. His Lordship conducted several matters in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh and also appeared before Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court.
      His Lordship was appointed as an Additional Judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana on 28th December, 2013 and thereafter as Permanent Judge on 19.12.2014.
      His Lordship's great grandfather and grandfather were renowned lawyers of District Bar, Patiala. His Lordship's late father was also a designated Senior Counsel and was later elevated to the Bench and retired in the year 1998 from the High Court of Himachal Pradesh 

Her Lordship completed schooling at Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Chandigarh, graduated in the discipline of humanities from GCG, Sector 11, Chandigarh and is an alumni of the Department of Laws, Panjab University having pursued B.A. LL.B. (three years) and LL.M. from there. Enrolled as an Advocate in the year 1990 and practiced at the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Nirmala Thakur is highly educated and is a renowned English poetess. Had schooling from St. Edwards School, Shimla and from the same school, completed I.C.S.E in the year 1979. Bachelor's degree in Arts (Honours) was obtained from Govt. Degree College, Shimla. Bachelor's degree in law was obtained from the Himachal Pradesh University. Commenced practice in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh in the year 1987 and handled civil, criminal and constitutional work. Remained as Addl. From October, 2010 till July 2012, served as District and Sessions Judge, Sirmaur at Nahan. Subsequently, till April, 2013, served as District and Sessions Judge, Kangra at Dharamshala. From 1st May, 2013 till 4th May, 2014 served as Registrar, High Court of Himachal Pradesh. Elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh and assumed office as such on 5th May, 2014 (FN). Took oath as Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh on 30th November 2014 (Forenoon). On transfer as Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, took oath and assumed office on 25.10.2021 (Forenoon).

His Lordship belongs to a family of legal luminaries as his great grandfather, Late Nand Kishore Prasad Singh practised at the District Courts, Chapra. His grandfather, Late Baldeo Prasad Singh, Barrister-at-Law, practised at the Patna High Court and remained the President of the Barristers’ Association for a long period of time. His father, Justice N.P. Singh, was a Former Judge of The Supreme Court of India and was also the Chairman of Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal.

 After completing his schooling from Vikas Vidyalaya, Ranchi, His Lordship did his graduation in Political Science and LL.B. from Patna University. His Lordship was enrolled as an Advocate in 1991. His Lordship appeared as a Central Government Counsel for the Union of India, represented Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) and remained Additional Standing Counsel for the Indian Audit and Accounts Department and Assistant Solicitor General of India at Patna High Court. His Lordship appeared in Criminal and Writ matters.

His Lordship was elevated to the Bench as an Additional Judge of the Patna High Court on 15^th April, 2015 and thereafter as a Permanent Judge on 20^th April, 2016.

On 2^nd November, 2023, His Lordship was sworn in as a Judge of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.

Designated as District & Sessions Judge in 2011 and worked as such at Fatehgarh Sahib and at Rupnagar. Appointed as Registrar General, Punjab & Haryana High Court, in June 2013 and worked as such till 28th June 2017, when sworn in as Additional Judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh. Appointed as permanent Judge on 3.12.2018

His Lordship was born on 31st October, 1962 in Village Jagsi District Sonepat (Haryana). His Lordship's father late Shri Ram Sarup Sehrawat was a renowned school Teacher of the area. His Lordship studied in his village school upto middle standard and thereafter did his schooling from S.M. Hindu High School, Sonepat upto matriculation. After doing his graduation (B.Sc.) (B.ED) from All India Jat Heroes Memorial (AIJHM) College, Rohtak in the year 1982-83. His Lordship took admission in Law Department at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 1983 and obtained Degree in Law in the year 1986 and enrolled as member of Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. Further did post graduation in Political Science from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak in the year 1988. His Lordship dealt with the matters pertaining to civil, criminal, Labour, Constitutional and other matters involving intricate questions of law. His Lordship also represented Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak since 09.08.2010. Remained as Legal Advisor-cum-standing counsel for (i) Haryana State Handlooms & Handicrafts Corporation ; (b) Haryana State Coop. Housing Development Federation and (iii) Haryana Financial Corporation. His Lordship had also remained in the office of Advocate General, Haryana as Senior Deputy Advocate General, Haryana from 17.7.2001 to 23.02.2004 He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on 10th July , 2017.

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Anil Kshetarpal was born on 19.11.1964, and hails from Kurukshetra, having a legal background as his father Sh. S.P. Kshetarpal was also a practicing Advocate at Kurukshetra. In 1987, after completing LL.B., got enrolled with Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. Started practice at Kurukshetra in 1987. Thereafter, in May, 1988, shifted his practice to Punjab and Haryana High Court and joined the office of Hon'ble Mr. Justice V.K. Bali, Chief Justice (Retd.). In 1991, started his independent practice on civil and constitutional side. In 2014, was designated as Senior Advocate by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. His Lordship was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on 10.07.2017.

Born on 4th April 1967 in a small agriculturist family and studied upto 10th standard in Government High School of native village Masudpur, District Hisar. Obtained LL.B degree in the year 1992 from Panjab University, Chandigarh and enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul belongs to a well known and an illustrious family of lawyers of Ambala. She did major part of her schooling from Convent of Jesus & Mary, Ambala, before doing her matriculation from S.A.Jain Senior Model High School, Ambala City. After graduating from S.A.Jain College, Ambala City, she went on to pursue LL.B. from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She has had an outstanding academic career having remained amongst the toppers during her student days. On her enrolment as an Advocate in the year 1987 with the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana, she started her practice under her grand father late Mr. Shanti Swaroop Nehru at Ambala, who was a renowned criminal lawyer of North India. Her father, Justice R.K.Nehru first served as a Judge of the Punjab & Haryana High Court and thereafter as a Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir. Upon his retirement as a Judge of the High Court, he served as Vice Chairman of Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench.

During her student years, ladyship actively participated in various sports tournaments. She represented Ambala District at the State level Table Tennis tournaments. Besides this, she was also a member of the Kurukshetra University Cricket Team and participated in various inter-college cricket tournaments. She was a member of her school and college debates and declamation teams where she won innumerable accolades. Ladyship was one of the four girl guides selected from India to represent the country at World Girl Guides Meet held at Pune in 1977. In the year 1978, ladyship was one of the awardees of the President of India Girl Guide Medal. Same year, ladyship stood first in an All India Essay Writing Competition which was held under the aegis of World Girl Guide and Scouts Association. She was then selected to represent India and participated in the World Pioneers Conference held at erstwhile USSR. While in active practice in Punjab & Haryana High Court and Supreme Court of India, ladyship was appointed as Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, for two years from 2007 to 2009. Born on 7th June, 1965 at Amritsar to late Shri Justice D.V.Sehgal (Former Lokpal, Punjab) and Smt.Rani Sehgal, Justice Suvir Sehgal has more than 31 years of experience in legal practice.

After completing B.Com (Hons.) in 1985, he went on to obtain Law Degree from Panjab University in 1988 and enrolled as a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana in August, 1988. Within few years of his joining the profession, he was unanimously elected as the Treasurer of Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association. During his years of legal practice, he handled diverse cases before Punjab and Haryana High Court under Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, Service, Labour and Property Law. He remained Senior Standing Counsel for the Chandigarh Administration for two and a half years and worked as Additional Advocate General, Punjab for about ten years. Further, he had the distinction of being on the Senior panel of Government of India. He also represented various Boards and Corporations of both Punjab and Haryana. He lent his expertise as a member of the Building By-laws Committee, set up by the Chandigarh Administration to carry out amendments in the Punjab Capital (D&R) Building Rules, 1952.

He was an added member, Faculty of Laws, Panjab University for two consecutive terms. He remained Executive Member of Holiday Home Society (Regd.) Sector 24, Chandigarh and later became its Vice-President.

He was elevated as Additional Judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana on 26th October, 2019.

Born in New Delhi on 21 June, 1966, Justice Alka Sarin graduated from Delhi University with a B.A. (Hons.) Degree in Political Science. She enrolled at the Campus Law Centre, Delhi University and obtained her LL.B. Degree in 1990 with a First Division. She initially practiced before the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. While practicing at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Alka Sarin obtained her LL.M. Degree from Kurukshetra University in 2004.

As a lawyer, Justice Alka Sarin dealt with all types of civil litigation including family disputes, land disputes, rent disputes, cases of medical negligence, arbitration disputes, taxation disputes, labour disputes, consumer disputes, matrimonial disputes etc. apart from carrying out Due Diligence Investigations.

Justice Alka Sarin has given lectures, talks and presentations on Medico-legal issues relating to organ donation, laws relating to sexual harassment, child abuse and women laws.

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Jasgurpreet Singh Puri was born on 30th August, 1965 at Nabha, District Patiala, Punjab. After completing ICSE (10th) from Punjab Public School, Nabha in the year 1980, did B.A. Honours School in Economics in the year 1984, LL.B. in the year 1987 and LL.M. in the year 1990 from Punjabi University Campus, Patiala.

Started law practice as a first generation lawyer at Subordinate Courts, Nabha and shifted to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh in the year 1991 where he practiced till his elevation. Had been visiting Lecturer in the Faculty of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh for six years from 1992 to 1998 and taught LL.B. final year students in various subjects of law i.e. The Indian Evidence Act, The Limitation Act, The Representation of People Act, Consumer Protection Laws etc. He had been visiting for various lectures in the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Chandigarh for imparting training to the Civil Servants and Revenue Officers of the State of Punjab. He had been visiting for lectures in various other organisations, including training of Law Officers of Punjab National Bank, senior officers of Punjab State Cooperative Training Institute, IAS and PCS Training Centres at Panjab University, Chandigarh and Punjabi University, Patiala.

He was appointed as Additional Advocate General of the State of Punjab in the year 2009 and remained as such for eight years till June, 2017. During law practice at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, he dealt with Civil, Service, Criminal, Corporate, Environment, Cooperative and Election matters. Remained standing counsel for Food Corporation of India, Retainer for Punjab State Tubewell Corporation (now Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation), National Brain Research Centre, Manesar and National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, besides counsel for various organisations, including Punjab School Education Board, Punjab Pollution Control Board, Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab Mandi Board, Cooperative Banks, MARKFED, Indian Medical Association (Punjab Chapter) and Urban Estate Welfare Association, Patiala.

Sworn in as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on 22.11.2019. Thereafter, he was appointed as Permanent Judge of this Court on 25.10.2021.

Born to Educationist Prem Lata and Engineer B. D. Girdhar on 9th March,1964 at Hisar. Did graduation in Arts and thereafter, obtained LL.B degree in 1985 from Kurukshetra University and was awarded University Medal and Mahasha Banarasi Dass Gupta Gold Medal for securing first position in LL.B exams. Selected and joined as Sub Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate in Haryana in October, 1987 and was designated as Chief Judicial Magistrate in 1998. Had been promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in 2002 and served as such at several places in the State. Was designated as District and Sessions Judge in September, 2013 and served as such and also presided over the Industrial Tribunal and worked as Legal Remembrancer-cum-Administrative Secretary to the Government of Haryana, Law and Legislative Department. Obtained LL.M degree in 2016 from Kurukshetra University. Elevated as Judge of this High Court on 28th November,2019.

Born on April 17, 1963 at Patiala. Educational qualification : B.Sc., L.L.M. Joined Punjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch) in February, 1990. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 2000 and as District and Sessions Judge in April 2012 and served as District and Sessions Judge at Moga, Ludhiana and Amritsar. Elevated as Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on November 28, 2019.

Born on December 13, 1964 to Smt. Nirmal and Sh.HarkrishanLal Soni. Her father was an eminent lawyer at Ludhiana. Had been a student of Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana and passed All India Secondary School Examination in the year 1980. She completed her B.A.(Hons.) in the year 1984 and LL.B. in the year 1987 from Panjab University, Chandigarh. JoinedPunjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch)on February 14, 1991. Promoted as Additional District and Session Judge in the year 2001 and worked as such at Patiala, Amritsar and Barnala. Designated as District and Sessions Judge in the year 2012 and worked as such at Faridkot, Mansa, SAS Nagar and also remained posted as Presiding Officer, State Transport Appellate Tribunal-cum-Presiding Officer, Food Safety Appellate Tribunal, Punjab. Happily married to Sh. Vivek Puri and both of them have been elevated as Additional Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on November 28, 2019. Thereafter, has been appointed as Permanent Judge on October 25, 2021.

His Lordship was born on 10.01.1966 in Village Barauli, District Panipat. Did his primary schooling from Government High School, Village Barauli, District Panipat. He completed his school education from S.M Joshi Hindi Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Pune and passed his matriculation with distinction. He was adjudged “Best Student of the School" in 1979. He did his graduation in B.Sc. (Physics) from Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune in 1986. During college he was awarded NCC 'C' Certificate Senior Division Air-wing from 3 Maharashtra Air Squadron, Pune. He completed M.A. (Economics) and LL.B from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and LL.M. from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He was awarded "Best Mooter" in All India Moot Court Competition and secured second position in All India Debate Competition organized by Law Department, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

He was enrolled as a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana in 1993 and started practicing in the High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh. He was appointed Assistant Advocate General, Haryana in 2000 and served there till 2005. His grand father, late Shri Balraj Bahl, also practised for several decades in the Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh. During this period at the Bar, he practised in various fields of law, such as, Civil, Revenue, Rent, Criminal, Constitution, Arbitration including International Arbitration, Service Law, Company Law. His Lordship was born on September 5, 1968 at Chandigarh, in a family of renowned lawyers and publishers of law journals.

Is progeny of Lala Ganpat Rai Suri, Vakil and Waqai Navis (Court Chronicler) in service of Sardar Maha Singh and Sardar Charat Singh (father and grandfather of Maharaja Ranjit Singh). Lala G.R. Suri's great grandson, Lala Dharam Das Suri (Lordship's great grandfather) started law practice in the year 1889 at Saharanpur (U.P.) and in 1892 shifted to practise at the Chief Court of Punjab. The High Court of Judicature was established at Lahore in 1919 and the Chief Court was abolished. The Suri family's journey remained in sync with the seat of the High Court, from Lahore to Shimla and then to Chandigarh in 1955.

His Lordship studied at St. John's High School, graduated in humanities from Government College Chandigarh and graduated in law from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Awarded Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (Bronze). Adjudged National Cadet Corps Best Cadet (Naval wing) of the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh Directorate and fifth at national level. Represented the Country in the Indo-Canada Youth Exchange Program, as part of a distinguished group selected from across the nation. Awarded College Colour for two consecutive years. Actively participated in many sports and outdoor adventure activities while undergoing formal education, and remained integrally associated with student editorial assignments back in college and law department.

Enrolled as an Advocate in August 1992 and was admitted to the Bar promptly thereafter. Was initiated in law practice under the tutelage of Senior Advocates Sarvashri Harbans Lal Sarin and Manmohan Lal Sarin [former Advocate General Punjab and former Advocate General Haryana].

Practised in different branches of law for 29 years before the High Court, predominantly on the Civil and Constitutional side. Garnered noteworthy cognitive experience as a Commission for taking evidence for proceedings pending before a New York Court; appointed by the High Court in execution of 'letters of request' under the Hague Evidence Convention.

Kept up with family tradition as Editor of 'The Lahore Law Times', a monthly law journal founded in 1922 by Shri Prabhu Das Suri (Lordship's grandfather). Was regional reporter of 'All India Services Law Journal' since 1993 and reporter for 'Indian Law Reports (Punjab and Haryana)' series, for two terms spanning over a decade.

A regular blood donor. Founder member of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Blood Contributors' Club, a unique step in the furtherance of voluntary blood donation and first of its kind in legal circles of the Country.

His Lordship was sworn in as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 29.10.2021.

His Lordship was born on May 23, 1974 in Village Kural, District Bhiwani. His Lordship completed his Matriculation and ISC from Punjab Public School, Nabha, District Patiala. His Lordship completed B.Com from D.N.P.G. College, Hisar and graduated in Law from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.
His Lordship has won various debates and declamation events at the Inter University/State level functions and has participated in North Zone Inter University, Youth Festival in One-Act play. His Lordship has won University Colour in English poetry and College Colour in debate.
His Lordship started practice initially as an associate with Chandigarh Chambers of Law and started independent practice in the year 2001. His Lordship remained as Additional Standing Counsel for the Union Territory, Chandigarh from the years 2003 to 2009. His Lordship also remained as Standing Counsel for the National Council for Teacher Education. His Lordship joined as Additional Advocate General, Haryana in the year 2010 and continued his term till 2014. His Lordship was immediately appointed as Additional Advocate General for the State of Punjab in the year 2014 and held the assignment up to the year 2017. His Lordship was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Punjab and Haryana High Court in May, 2021. During the period of practice, His Lordship defended important cases on behalf of various Government Departments and instrumentalities of State including Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, various Municipal Corporations of Haryana, Sugar Federation and Co-operative Sugar Mills, Central University, Agriculture University, Hisar and PGI Chandigarh. His Lordship also remained consultant for the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission and conducted large number of matters including arbitration proceedings on behalf of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, PWD (B &R), Haryana State Bridges and Roads Development Corporation as well as Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited. His Lordship was elevated as an Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on October 29, 2021.

His Lordship was born to Mrs. Pushpa Jain and Mr. Amrit Lal Jain in a family of lawyers. His Lordship's father is a reputed Lawyer and practiced for several years in the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court before retiring from professional life in the year 2018. His Lordship completed his graduation from DAV College, Chandigarh in 1993. His Lordship did M.A. Economics from Panjab University in 1995 and secured distinction. His Lordship has been regularly contributing as columnist to various newspapers. His Lordship qualified law from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1998 and joined the profession, starting his practice in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana. He was enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana in the same year.

During his period at the bar, he practiced in various fields of law such as civil, criminal, constitutional and Labour. His Lordship was appointed Senior Panel Counsel by the Government of India in 2014. His Lordship was appointed as Senior Standing Counsel to represent the Union Territory, Chandigarh on 27.12.2018 and continued to hold office till His Lordship's elevation. His Lordship was designated as Senior Advocate by Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on 26.05.2021.

His Lordship was elevated to the Bench as an Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on October 29, 2021.

Born on 6th July, 1974, Justice Jasjit Singh Bedi belongs to a family of lawyers, judges and servicemen. He completed his school education from the Lawrence School, Sanawar, graduation from Panjab University and LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Delhi. He was designated as a Senior Advocate on 29th January, 2014. He was elevated as Additional Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court on 29th October, 2021. He is the son of Justice Harjit Singh Bedi, former Judge, Supreme Court of India and the grandson of Justice Tikka Jagjit Singh Bedi, former Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court. His wife is a professor of Law and they have a son and a daughter.

Born on 23rd June 1973, completed CBSE from Ashok Hall Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Kolkata (1990) and ‘A’ Levels (GCE Advanced Levels) from Calcutta International School (1993) with Grade A in Law. Graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) (1996). Called to the bar of England and Wales by the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn (1997)

Enrolled as an Advocate, Bar Council of West Bengal (1998). From 1998 to 2022, engaged in independent practice in Civil, Constitutional, Company, Admiralty and Family law, as well as Arbitration (as counsel and arbitrator) and Mediation, appearing primarily before the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta and tribunals (including the National Company Law Tribunal and the Debt Recovery Tribunal).

Sworn in as an Additional Judge of the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta on 9th June, 2022.

Transferred to the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh with effect from 8th November, 2023. She was appointed as permanent judge of this Court on 1st February 2024.

Born on 28th July, 1966, Justice Ms. Nidhi Gupta belongs to a family of Lawyers, Judges and teachers of Law. She completed her school education in 1982 from Sacred Heart Convent School, Chandigarh; Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English in 1986 from Government College for Girls, Sector 11, Chandigarh; and LL.B. in 1989 from Panjab University, Chandigarh - whereafter she entered the Legal profession and has since practiced before Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, Hon'ble Delhi High Court, Hon'ble the Supreme Court of India etc. Since 2015, she has represented the State of Haryana as Additional Advocate General before Hon'ble the Supreme Court of India. She was elevated as Additional Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court on 16th August, 2022. She is the daughter of Late Justice Jawahar Lal Gupta, retired Chief Justice, High Court of Kerala, and previously Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court .

His Lordship was born to Mrs. Sudesh Dahiya and Dr. Bhim S. Dahiya, formerly Vice-Chancellor, Kurukshetra University. He attended Senior Model School, University Campus, Kurukshetra and graduated with distinction in Arts from CRA College, Sonepat in 1987. He obtained his M.A. in English from Kurukshetra University in 1989, and completed his LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 1992. He joined the Bar the same year and earned his LL.M. from Kurukshetra University, while practising, in 1996. 

His Lordship practiced at the Punjab and Haryana High Court and handled administrative, civil, and criminal law cases. He represented and provided consultancy to private as well as institutional clients. Additionally, he served as an Additional Central Government Standing Counsel from 1995-98 and 2004-07. He also provided assistance to the Court as amicus curiae in many matters of importance. Having a keen interest in pro bono work, he regularly accepted cases from the High Court Legal Services Committee and the Punjab State Legal Services Authority.

From 1997 to 2000, His Lordship served as a part-time Lecturer in the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He also authored several articles on legal issues that were published in law magazines and journals.

Being a trained Mediator, he worked in that capacity at the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of the Punjab and Haryana High Court from 2009 to 2013. In addition, he served as a Reporter for the Indian Law Reports, Punjab and Haryana Series.

His Lordship was designated as Senior Advocate by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 28 May 2021. Subsequently on 16 August 2022, he was appointed as an Additional Judge, and then, on 28 September 2023, as Judge of this Court.

 Born on 4th April, 1967 in a village in District Patiala. Attaining his degree in law in the year 1993, was enrolled as an Advocate on the rolls of Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana on 11th November, 1993. Started practice as a first-generation lawyer at the Punjab and Haryana High Court and other Courts located at Chandigarh, on both Original & Appellate sides in various fields of law such as Constitutional, Service, Labour and Civil.
      Remained Standing Counsel for Election Commission of India since 2001 and Standing Counsel for National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali. Remained Additional Standing Counsel, Union Territory, Chandigarh Administration and Senior Panel Counsel, Government of India from 3rd December, 2001 till elevation, besides Counsel for various organisations, including Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi; Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh; Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, Panchkula; Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, Panchkula and Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts under High Court of Punjab and Haryana (S.S.S.C.).
     Elevated to the Bench as an Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on 16th August, 2022.

His Lordship was born on 20.04.1972 at Panipat. His father is a reputed lawyer at Panipat. After completing his LL.B. from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 1994, his Lordship was enrolled as a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, on 02.09.1994. During his period at Bar, he practised in various fields of law such as Civil, Constitutional, Criminal etc. He remained as Honorary Secretary of Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association during 2008-2009. He was appointed as Additional Standing Counsel for Chandigarh Administration on 07.01.2010 and remained till January 2021. Joined as Additional Advocate General, Punjab, on 10.09.2014 and remained as such till 30.06.2017. Also empanelled as an Arbitrator by the Punjab and Haryana High Court for a period of 03 years i.e. w.e.f. 01.06.2018. Remained Standing counsel for AICTE from December 2017 till December 2019 and panel counsel for National Highway Authority of India from December 2020 onwards till elevation. He was elevated as Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on August 16, 2022.

           Justice Aman Chaudhary is the son of Late Sh Manmohan Singh Chaudhary, Formerly Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana and Chairman, HSSC and nephew of Justice Amarjeet Chaudhary, Formerly Acting Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court.
           His early schooling is from St. John's High School and Govt. Sr. Model School, Sec 16, Chandigarh. He graduated in History Honours from Govt. College, Sector 11 and thereafter, obtained his LLB Degree from the Panjab University. He remained Senior Panel Counsel, Government of India and Additional Advocate General for the State of Haryana, besides being retained by various private and Govt. Institutions.
           He had practised at the High Court for 26 years in the fields of Criminal, Civil, Labour, Service Law and Arbitration.

His Lordship was born to Smt. Asha Bunger and Sh. S.R. Bunger IAS on 15thDecember,1971 at Patti (Punjab). His Lordship's father served as Financial Commissioner in Punjab State.
His Lordship did his schooling from Shivalik Public School and graduated from DAV College, Chandigarh and thereafter, obtained his LLB Degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
His Lordship was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council for the States of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh and started his legal profession by practising at Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

Justice Jagmohan Bansal belongs to a Teachers family and was born on 7.11.1974. In 1995, did B.Com from Government National College, Sirsa and in 1998 secured degree of LL.B. from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Stood first in Accountancy in 10+2 in State of Haryana and was awarded scholarship. Is a member of ICSI, New Delhi. Got opportunity to work as Additional Advocate General, Punjab from 2012 to 2017. On behalf of various Govt. and non-govt. organizations, argued matters relating to taxation, Constitution, PMLA, FERA, Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act before Hon'ble Supreme Court, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Delhi High Court, Himachal Pradesh High Court and J & K High Court. Got opportunity to argue criminal matters arising from taxation Laws. Was designated by Punjab and Haryana High Court as Senior Advocate in May' 2020. Is fond of reading books and participating in social activities. Worked as Trustee/office bearers of different Charitable Trusts and social organizations. In different Seminars of professionals, delivered many lectures on different taxation issues. Has written many Articles on different issues which are published in Tax Journals. Was Administered oath as Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on 16.8.2022(F.N.).

His Lordship was born to Smt. Usha Manchanda and Sh. Atam Parkash Manchanda on January 13, 1975 at Karnal (Haryana).  Having completed Graduation in Law from  Gwalior in the year 1999, got enrolled as an Advocate with The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana on 24.7.1999. His Lordship started his legal profession at Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and practised for more than 22 years and handled a large number of Civil, Criminal and Constitutional matters and also represented the State of Haryana as Addl. Advocate General from the year 2014 till elevation to the Bench. His Lordship was elevated as an Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on August 16, 2022 and became Permanent Judge of this Court on September 28, 2023.

      His Lordship was born on 26^th January, 1975 to Smt. Sanyogita Jain and Sh. Avinash Chander Jain at Chandigarh. He belongs to a family of lawyers. His Great Grandfather was in Civil Services and was appointed as a Judicial Member of Chamba Court. His Grandfather late Sh. D.D. Jain, was a reputed criminal lawyer and was one of the early members of the Bar Association of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. His father Sh. Avinash Chander Jain is a practising lawyer, who has put in more than 50 years in the profession.

     His Lordship has completed his school from Chandigarh and holds a B.Com Degree from G.G.D.S.D. College, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh. After which, he proceeded to do his LLB from Punjabi University, Patiala in the years 1996-1999.He was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council for the States of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh in the year 1999. His Lordship began his practice as a lawyer in the District Court, Chandigarh for six months before shifting to the Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh. His area of litigation pertained to Constitutional, Service, Arbitration, Company and all kinds of Civil matters. He had also assisted in Full Bench proceedings.

                            His Lordship was appointed as Counsel for the Official Liquidator attached with the Punjab and Haryana High Court and many more organizations. He was appointed as Senior Panel Counsel for the Union of India in the year 2014 and thereafter gained invaluable experience of dealing with various complicated matters of various Ministries. He was also empanelled with PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Justice Kuldeep Tiwari was born to Shri Raj Kumar and Smt. Kamlesh, on 15th May 1977 at Pehowa, District Kurukshetra, Haryana. He hails from an agriculturist family and he is a first-generation lawyer of his family. Alumnus of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra from where he completed 5-years integrated B.A., LLB (Hons.) in the year 2001, Justice Kuldeep Tiwari started his practice as an advocate in the District Court, Kurukshetra and Civil Court, Pehowa in September 2001. Thereafter, he shifted to Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh in November 2002. He has had a successful practice at the Bar wherein he dealt with multifarious criminal, service, and arbitration matters.

Justice Kuldeep Tiwari has served as Additional Advocate General, Haryana; Additional Public Prosecutor (UT Chandigarh); Standing Counsel for Bhakhra Beas Management Board and Indira Gandhi University, Rewari, Haryana; Legal Advisor to Marketing Board-UT Chandigarh; Panel Counsel for various Boards, Corporations, Universities including Indian Red Cross Society (Haryana), Pt. B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak; Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani and Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana, among others.

He was administered oath as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on 2nd November, 2022 and became Permanent Judge of this Court on March 12, 2024.

Born on 29.11.1962 at Patiala, did initial schooling from Bakshi Bir Singh High School, Patiala and matriculation from Atma Ram Kumar Sabha Senior Secondary School, Patiala. After doing B.Sc.(Medical) from Government Mohindra College Patiala, did LL.B. from Punjabi University, Patiala in year 1985. Was enrolled as an Advocate in the same year and started practice in District Courts, Patiala. Thereafter, joined Bank and after serving for some time there, joined Punjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch) in February 1991. Served at Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patti and Bathinda in different capacities. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge and served at Sangrur, Ludhiana, Chandigarh and Bathinda. Also remained posted as Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Chandigarh. Designated as District and Sessions Judge in the year 2012 and served as such at Mansa, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Chandigarh. Elevated as Additional Judge of High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh on 02.11.2022.

His Lordship was born to Smt. Saroj Gupta and Sh. Tek Chand Gupta on November 20th, 1965 in District Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh). His Lordship's father served as Additional District & Sessions Judge in Haryana Judiciary and retired in 1997 from Rohtak. Having obtained Degree in BSc and LL.B., His Lordship joined Haryana Civil Services (Judicial Branch) in 1989 at age of 24 years. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 2002 and as District and Sessions Judge in 2013 and served as District and Sessions Judge at Ambala, Faridabad and Panchkula. His Lordship served as the Member Secretary Haryana State Legal Services Authority from 2011 to 2014. His Lordship has keen interest in Sports, reading books, music and travelling. His Lordship was elevated as an Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on November 2nd, 2022.

                   Born on September 22, 1965 to Smt. Mohinder Kaur and Shri Joginder Singh Kaila, Superintending Engineering, PWD (B&R), Punjab and subsequently, retired as Chief Engineer, Punjab Markfed, Chandigarh while on deputation.  Graduated in Arts from Govt. College for Women, Patiala in 1984 and LLB from Punjabi University Patiala in 1987. Completed Masters  in Law (LLM) from Punjabi University, Patiala securing First position in order of merit in year 1992. Joined Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) Branch on February 14, 1991. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 2001 and worked as such at Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Moga and Fatehgarh Sahib. Designated as District and Sessions Judge in November, 2012 and was Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal Bathinda. Thereafter, remained posted as District and Sessions Judge at Rupnagar, Sangrur and Hoshiarpur Districts. Elevated as Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court on November 02, 2022.

Justice Manisha Batra was born on September 22, 1966 to Smt. Leela Chopra and Sh. Kishan Lal Chopra. Her father was an eminent lawyer in Faridabad and practised in Faridabad District Courts for over 50 years. She completed her Graduation from Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad in Bachelor of Arts in the year 1985 and was University rank holder for two consecutive years. She obtained her LLB degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in the year 1988 and was a top rank holder during most of this period. She practised as a lawyer in District Courts, Faridabad from 1988 to 1994 in the chambers of her father, Sh. Kishan Lal Chopra. As a lawyer, her main area of practice involved Civil and Revenue matters. She joined Haryana Judicial Services in the year 1994 as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Bhiwani. She was the first ever female Judicial Officer in District Bhiwani and then at Sub Divisional Courts, Bahadurgarh, District Rohtak. She was promoted to Haryana Superior Judiciary as Additional & Sessions Judge in February 2008. She was promoted as District & Sessions Judge in the year 2014 and held that post for over 8 years. She was elevated as an Additional Judge of Punjab & Haryana High Court on November 02, 2022.

Born on 29^th of December 1964 at Amritsar, to Smt. Gurdeep Kaur and Sh. Har Mohinder Singh; both parents served as Lecturers and subsequently father superannuated as District Education Officer.  Did graduation in Arts and thereafter, obtained LL.B degree in 1986 from Guru Nanak Dev University in first division.  Practiced at District Courts, Jalandhar for some time and then joined Punjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch) in February, 1991. Was promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in 2002 and served as such at several places in the State.  Was designated as District and Sessions Judge in July 2013 and served as such at various places and also presided over the State Transport Appellate Tribunal-cum-State Food Safety Appellate Tribunal Punjab, Chandigarh.  Elevated as Additional Judge of this High Court on 02 November, 2022.

Justice Vikram Aggarwal was born to Smt. Uma Aggarwal and Sh. R.C.Aggarwal on 12.08.1971 at Chandigarh.  His Lordship's father served in the Department of Irrigation, Punjab and retired as Superintending Engineer in 1997.  His Lordship's paternal grand father Late Sh.Sham Lal Aggarwal was a leading Advocate at Rajpura (District Patiala) and maternal grand father Late Sh. Amar Nath Aggarwal was a leading Advocate at Fazilka (Punjab).  His Lordship did his schooling initially from Chandigarh and later from Ropar (Punjab).   After doing his Bachelors in Civil Engineering, he did LL.B. in the year 1997. He was enrolled as an Advocate in the same year and started practicing in the Punjab & Haryana High Court.  Dealt with all spheres of litigation during his 11 years of practice. Stood first in the Haryana Superior Judicial Service Examination conducted in the year 2008 and was appointed as Additional District & Sessions Judge in the State of Haryana. Remained posted as Addl. District & Sessions Judge at Ambala, Yamunanagar and Gurugram. Designated as a District & Sessions Judge in September, 2014. Remained posted as Member Secretary, Haryana State Legal Services Authority, Panchkula from 2014 to 2017, District & Sessions Judge, Ambala from April, 2017 to August, 2019 and Registrar Vigilance in this Hon'ble Court from September, 2019 to November, 2022 before being elevated as an Additional Judge of this Hon'ble Court on 02.11.2022.

Born on 20.12.1975, Justice Harpreet Singh Brar hails from village Phulewala situated in District Sri Muktsar Sahib.  His father late Sh. Gurbachan Singh Brar served the State of Punjab as Deputy District Attorney as well as Additional Advocate General.  His wife is a Kindergarten Teacher and he is blessed with a son, who recently graduated from the University of British Columbia with major in Political Science.

   ·   Passed Matriculation Examination in the year 1990, while studying in DAV High School, Sri Muktsar Sahib. Thereafter, obtained Bachelor of Arts degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in the year 1995, while studying in the Government College, Sri Muktsar Sahib.  Completed Bachelor of Laws degree in the year 1999, while studying in the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Born on 23rd November, 1972 to Smt. Usha Goel, Sangeet Prabhakar (B.A.) in  Instrumental Music and Shri. C.R. Goel (who served as a District and Sessions Judge), Justice Sumeet Goel received his school education in various cities in the State of Haryana following his father’s postings as a Judicial Officer. He, thereafter, completed Class 12th from Delhi Public School, RK Puram (New Delhi) and B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. While reading Law at the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi; His Lordship wrote several monographs on subjects of Law including Text and Cases: Constitutional Law (published in 1995).

 He enrolled as an Advocate at the Bar in 1996 and was subsequently designated as a Senior Advocate. He appeared extensively in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana in Criminal, Constitutional, Civil and Arbitration cases on behalf of private litigants as well as Corporate entities. His Lordship remained as the Retainer Counsel-cum-Special Public Prosecutor for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at the High Court of Punjab and Haryana from 2011 to 2022. His Lordship served as Standing Counsel for the Employee's Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) as well as Standing Counsel for Food Corporation of India (FCI). He served as the Panel Counsel, amongst others, for UT Administration, Chandigarh; Nationalised Insurance Companies, Kurukshetra University, Guru Jambheshwar University (Hisar), Central University of Haryana, Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board, Haryana Urban Development Authority. He also worked as a Special Engagement Counsel for Union of India in addition to being a Panel Advocate in the office of Advocate General, Haryana. His Lordship appeared extensively as Counsel for the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and also remained empanelled as an Arbitrator by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana. 

 He was a member of the Scrutinizing and Evaluation Committee of Haryana State Legal Services Authority for many years and actively represented Haryana State Legal Services Authority as a Counsel as well, on Pro Bono basis, for more than twenty years.   

Justice Sumeet Goel was elevated to the Bench as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana on November 6th, 2023.

Her Lordship Justice Sudeepti Sharma holds an esteemed position as a distinguished legal professional with a diverse background and extensive experience. Born on March 7, 1969, Her Lordship is a graduate with honors in English from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and possesses an M.A. in Sociology from the same university. Additionally, Her Lordship obtained a law degree from H.P. University, Shimla.

Throughout Her Lordship’s educational journey, Her Lordship actively participated in NSS, contributed to adult literacy programs, and engaged in Community Oriented Policing with Chandigarh Police. Enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh, Her Lordship has been a respected member of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association since 1998.

Commencing Her Lordship's professional journey as a private counsel, Her Lordship practiced law in various courts, including the Punjab & Haryana High Court, District Courts in Chandigarh, and tribunals.

Notably, Her Lordship served as a Punjab State Law Officer, Commencing as an Attached Assistant Advocate General in the office of the Ld. Advocate General, Punjab, on July 13, 2005, she progressed to become Deputy Advocate General on September 23, 2008, and subsequently served as Additional Advocate General till August 20, 2022. Her Lordship was born on August 30th 1973 in London and comes from a distinguished business family settled in Panchkula. She completed her early education at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, before pursuing an undergraduate degree in Humanities from GCG, Sector 11, Chandigarh. She subsequently pursued her LLB degree from the Department of Laws, Panjab University and thereafter she got enrolled as an advocate in the year 1998 and started practicing at the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Her Lordship was appointed as an Assistant Advocate General, Punjab (2005-2006) and Haryana (2007-2009). Thereafter, she was appointed as a Deputy Advocate General, Haryana (2010-2023). As a State Counsel, Her Lordship dealt with various civil, criminal, service, and labour matters. 

Her Lordship was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 6th November 2023.
